Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 4 pieces boneless pork chops, about 1 inch thick
  • 1 packet ranch seasoning mix, about 1 ounce
  • 1 can condensed cream of chicken soup, 10.5 ounces
  • 1 cup low-sodium chicken broth Choose low-sodium for a healthier dish.

Method

Preparation
  1. Lightly coat the inside of the slow cooker with cooking spray if desired.
  2. Arrange the pork chops in an even layer in the bottom of the slow cooker.
  3. In a medium bowl, whisk together the ranch seasoning, condensed cream of chicken soup, and chicken broth until smooth and well combined.
  4. Pour the mixture evenly over the pork chops.
Cooking
  1. Cover the slow cooker and cook on low for 5 to 6 hours or on high for 2 1/2 to 3 1/2 hours, until the pork is tender and cooked through.
  2. Once done, spoon some of the gravy over the pork chops. Let them rest for a few minutes and serve hot.

Notes

For additional flavor, consider adding sliced mushrooms or onions to the slow cooker. For a thicker gravy, mix a bit of cornstarch with water and stir it in during the last 30 minutes of cooking. This dish pairs well with mashed potatoes, rice, or noodles.
