  • 1 can (10.5 ounces) condensed cream of celery soup
  • 2 cups whole milk
  • 2 tablespoons butter cut into pieces

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F and lightly butter or grease a 2-quart casserole dish.
  2. Add the uncooked elbow macaroni to the prepared casserole dish and spread it into an even layer.
  3. In a bowl, whisk together the condensed cream of celery soup and milk until smooth; then pour the mixture evenly over the macaroni.
  4. Dot the top with the butter pieces.
Baking
  1. Cover the dish tightly with foil and bake for 30 minutes.
  2. Remove the foil, stir well, and return the dish to the oven uncovered.
  3. Bake for an additional 20 to 30 minutes, until the macaroni is tender and the top is lightly golden.
  4. Let it rest for 5 to 10 minutes before serving.
