Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 3 pounds boneless, skinless chicken breasts or tenders
  • 1 can condensed cream of mushroom soup, undiluted
  • 1 cup sherry cooking cream

Method

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F.
  2. Lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish or a similar shallow casserole.
  3. Arrange the chicken in an even layer in the prepared baking dish.
  4. In a bowl, stir together the condensed soup and sherry cooking cream until smooth and well blended.
  5. Pour the sauce evenly over the chicken, making sure all the pieces are covered.
Cooking
  1. Bake uncovered for 45 to 55 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and the sauce is bubbling gently around the edges.
  2. Let the dish rest for 5 minutes before serving, then spoon the sauce over the chicken on each plate.

Notes

For added flavor, consider seasoning the chicken with salt, pepper, and garlic powder before baking. Use fresh herbs like parsley or thyme for garnish. If you want a thinner sauce, you can add a little chicken broth to the soup mixture. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 3 to 4 days.
