Crust
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 cups graham cracker crumbs
Filling
  • 1 can sweetened condensed milk (14 ounces)
  • 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 3 cups whole unwrapped malted milk balls

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a 9×13 baking dish or line it with parchment paper.
  2. In a medium bowl, stir the melted butter and graham cracker crumbs together until moistened.
  3. Press the mixture into the bottom of the baking dish to form a crust.
  4. Pour the sweetened condensed milk over the crust.
  5. Sprinkle with chocolate chips and scatter the malted milk balls on top.
  6. Bake for 22-26 minutes until the edges are golden and the chocolate is melted.
  7. Let cool, cut into squares, and serve. For a crunchier texture, chill before serving.

Notes

These bars can be served warm or cold. For an extra indulgent treat, serve them with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or drizzle chocolate sauce on top. Store any leftover bars in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days. For longer storage, refrigerate them for about a week. Make sure to press the graham cracker crust firmly into the bottom of the dish; this helps it hold together better. For added flavor, consider mixing in chopped nuts or different types of chocolate chips. If you want a richer taste, try using dark chocolate chips instead of semi-sweet.
