Surf & Turf Garlic Noodle Stir-Fry

Ingredients
  

  • 12 oz flank steak, thinly sliced against the grain
  • 8 oz large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 12 oz fresh egg noodles
  • 6 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 8 cloves garlic , finely minced
  • 2 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 1 tbsp light soy sauce
  • 1 tsp dark soy sauce
  • 1 tsp granulated sugar
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 3 scallions , sliced
  • 2 tbsp neutral oil

Method
 

  1. Boil noodles according to package instructions until al dente, drain, and set aside.
  2. Whisk together oyster sauce, light soy sauce, dark soy sauce, and sugar in a small bowl.
  3. Heat 1 tbsp oil in a wok over high heat and sear beef slices until browned, then remove from pan.
  4. Heat remaining oil and sear shrimp until pink and opaque, then remove from pan.
  5. Reduce heat to medium and melt butter in the wok; sauté minced garlic for 1 minute until fragrant.
  6. Add noodles to the garlic butter and toss to coat thoroughly.
  7. Pour the sauce mixture over the noodles and stir to incorporate.
  8. Return beef and shrimp to the pan, add parmesan cheese, and toss until well combined.
  9. Garnish with sliced scallions and serve hot.
