  • 1 tube refrigerated crescent roll dough, 8-count
  • 8 slices cooked bacon, cut in half Cooked crispy
  • 4 ounces cream cheese, softened Make sure it is softened for easy spreading
  • 4 ounces shredded sharp cheddar cheese

Method

Preparation

  2. In a small bowl, stir together the softened cream cheese and shredded cheddar until well combined.
  3. Unroll the crescent dough and separate it into 8 triangles. Spread a spoonful of the cheese mixture over each triangle, leaving a small border at the edges.
  4. Place 2 bacon half-slices on the wide end of each triangle. Roll up from the wide end to the point, tucking the filling in as you go.
  5. Arrange the rolls on the prepared baking sheet with the pointed ends tucked underneath.
  6. Bake for 12 to 15 minutes, until puffed and deep golden brown.
  7. Let the rolls cool for 5 minutes before serving so the cheese can settle just a bit. Serve warm.
