Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 2 packages 2 (14-ounce) packages little smoked sausages or cocktail smokies
  • 1 cup 1 cup packed light brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup 1/2 cup unsalted butter, sliced

Method

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F and lightly grease a medium glass casserole dish or baking dish.
  2. Spread the little smoked sausages evenly in the prepared dish.
  3. Sprinkle the brown sugar evenly over the sausages, then distribute the sliced butter across the top.
Cooking
  1. Bake uncovered for 35 to 40 minutes, stirring once halfway through, until the butter and sugar melt into a bubbling glaze and the smokies are hot and caramelized.
  2. Let them rest for 5 minutes, then serve warm with toothpicks or a small spoon for scooping up extra glaze.

Notes

For extra flavor, add a sprinkle of cayenne pepper or your favorite hot sauce. Make sure to stir the smokies halfway through baking for even coating. Can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for about 3-4 days.
