slow cooker swiss steak with tomato gravy

Slow Cooker Swiss Steak

This slow cooker Swiss steak is a classic 1970s comfort food that turns simple, budget-friendly beef into a tender, flavorful meal. The steak cooks low and slow in a rich tomato gravy with onions and peppers, creating a hearty dish with minimal effort. A quick sear adds extra flavor, but the slow cooker does most of the work. Serve it with mashed potatoes, noodles, or bread to soak up the sauce. It’s easy, filling, and honestly… even better the next day.
