Ingredients
  

  • 1.5 lbs beef sirloin or stew meat sliced into thin strips
  • 2 bell peppers sliced
  • 1 onion sliced
  • 3 garlic cloves minced
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup beef broth
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tsp ginger
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • For Thickening:
  • 2 tbsp cornstarch
  • 2 tbsp water
  • Optional:
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • Red pepper flakes

Method
 

  1. Add beef, bell peppers, onion, and garlic to the slow cooker.
  2. In a bowl, mix soy sauce, beef broth, brown sugar, ginger, and black pepper.
  3. Pour the sauce over the beef and vegetables.
  4. Cover and cook on LOW for 6–8 hours or HIGH for 3–4 hours.
  5. In the last 30 minutes, mix cornstarch and water. Stir into the slow cooker.
  6. Let the sauce thicken, then serve hot.
