Main Ingredients
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 6 ounce box dry herb stuffing mix
  • 1 10.5 ounce can condensed cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 12 to 16 ounce bag frozen mixed vegetables
  • 1 cup water

Method

Preparation

  2. Spread the raw ground beef evenly across the bottom and break it up slightly.
  3. Spoon the condensed cream of mushroom soup over the beef.
  4. Scatter the frozen mixed vegetables evenly over the soup.
  5. Sprinkle the dry stuffing mix over the vegetables.
  6. Pour the water around and lightly over the stuffing without stirring.
Cooking
  1. Cover and cook on LOW for 4 to 5 hours or HIGH for 2 and a half to 3 hours, until the beef reaches 160 degrees F and the stuffing is tender.
  2. Gently break up and stir some of the beef into the sauce before serving, leaving some stuffing intact on top.
  3. Spoon onto plates or into bowls and serve hot.

Notes

For added flavor, season the ground beef with garlic powder, onion powder, or your favorite herbs before cooking. You can also substitute ground turkey or chicken for a lighter option or use cream of chicken soup for a flavor change. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. To reheat, warm it in the microwave or on the stove until heated through.
