  • 1.5 cups dry elbow macaroni
  • 1.5 pounds boneless skinless chicken breasts Frozen chicken can be used but may require longer cooking time.
  • 2 cans condensed cream of chicken soup (10.5 ounces each)
  • 2 cups low-sodium chicken broth
  • 1 teaspoon salt Add to taste.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Place the chicken breasts in the bottom of the slow cooker.
  2. Pour the condensed cream of chicken soup and chicken broth over the chicken.
  3. Add salt to taste.
  4. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours.
  5. About 30 minutes before serving, stir in the dry elbow macaroni.
  6. Continue to cook on low until the macaroni is tender.
  7. Serve hot.

Notes

For added flavor, consider seasoning the chicken with herbs like thyme or rosemary before cooking. For a creamier texture, add a splash of milk or some shredded cheese before serving. You can customize with frozen peas or carrots for added nutrition.
