Roast Beef & Cheese Biscuit Sliders

Ingredients
  

  • 12 pre -baked buttermilk biscuits
  • 1 pound thinly sliced deli roast beef
  • 6 slices provolone cheese, halved
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 tablespoon poppy seeds

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease a 9x13 inch baking dish.
  2. Slice each biscuit horizontally and place the bottom halves side-by-side in the prepared baking dish.
  3. Evenly distribute the sliced roast beef across the 12 biscuit bottoms.
  4. Top each portion of beef with a half-slice of provolone cheese.
  5. Place the biscuit tops onto the cheese-covered sliders.
  6. In a small bowl, whisk together melted butter, Worcestershire sauce, Dijon mustard, garlic powder, and onion powder until combined.
  7. Brush the butter mixture generously over the tops of the biscuits and sprinkle with poppy seeds.
  8. Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake for 10 minutes.
  9. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 8 to 10 minutes until the biscuits are golden brown and the cheese is melted.
  10. Allow to rest for 2 minutes before serving.
