  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened Ensure cream cheese is softened for easy mixing.
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 packet dry ranch seasoning mix
  • 3 tablespoons fresh chives, finely chopped Can substitute with green onions or parsley.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a medium mixing bowl, add the softened cream cheese, sour cream, and dry ranch seasoning mix.
  2. Stir until the mixture is smooth and fully combined. Scrape down the sides as needed.
  3. Fold in the chopped fresh chives until evenly blended throughout the dip.
  4. Transfer the dip to a serving bowl, cover, and chill for at least 30 minutes to let the flavors blend and for the dip to firm up slightly.
Serving
  1. Serve cold with crackers, chips, or fresh vegetables.

Notes

For extra flavor, consider adding garlic powder or diced bell peppers to the dip. If you prefer a thinner dip, mix in a little milk or buttermilk until desired consistency is reached. Store the dip tightly covered in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.
