Ingredients
  

  • For the Pork Chops
  • 4 boneless pork chops
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • For the Pineapple Glaze
  • 2 cups pineapple chunks
  • 3 garlic cloves minced
  • 1/3 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 tablespoon ketchup

Method
 

  1. Season the Pork
  2. Pat the pork chops dry with paper towels. Season both sides with salt, black pepper, and smoked paprika.
  3. Sear the Pork Chops
  4. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the pork chops for 4–5 minutes per side until golden brown and cooked through. Remove from skillet and set aside.
  5. Cook the Pineapple
  6. In the same skillet, add pineapple chunks and minced garlic. Cook for 2–3 minutes until the pineapple becomes lightly caramelized.
  7. Make the Glaze
  8. Pour in soy sauce, brown sugar, honey, and ketchup. Stir well and let the sauce simmer until glossy and slightly thickened.
  9. Finish the Dish
  10. Return pork chops to the skillet. Spoon the pineapple glaze over the pork and simmer for another 5 minutes.
  11. Garnish and Serve
  12. Top with fresh parsley or green onions and serve warm.
