Main Ingredients
  • 4 pieces boneless pork chops, about 1 inch thick
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese Use freshly grated for better flavor.
  • 1 cup mayonnaise Can be substituted with sour cream or Greek yogurt.

Method

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C) and line a baking sheet with foil.
  2. Lightly pat the pork chops dry with paper towels.
Preparation of Topping
  1. In a small bowl, stir together the mayonnaise and grated Parmesan until well combined into a thick spread.
  2. Spread the Parmesan mixture evenly over the top of each pork chop, covering them well from edge to edge.
Cooking
  1. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes, or until the pork chops are cooked through, and the topping is golden brown and bubbling at the edges.
  2. If a deeper color is desired, broil for an additional 1 to 2 minutes, watching closely.
Resting
  1. Let the pork chops rest for 5 minutes before serving.

Notes

Best served hot with sides like steamed vegetables, mashed potatoes, or salad. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 3-4 days. Reheat in the oven for crispy topping.
