Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 8 whole hard pretzel rods Unbroken pretzel rods
  • 4 cups sliced ripe peaches Use ripe peaches for best flavor
  • 2 cups fresh blueberries or blackberries Feel free to mix different types of berries
  • 1/2 cup packed light brown sugar
  • 6 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted

Method

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F. Lightly butter or line a metal sheet pan with parchment for easier cleanup.
  2. Spread the sliced peaches and berries across the sheet pan in an even layer.
  3. Sprinkle the brown sugar evenly over the fruit, then drizzle with the melted butter.
  4. Lay the whole pretzel rods over the fruit in a single layer, nestling them gently into the fruit.
Baking
  1. Bake for 22 to 28 minutes, until the fruit is bubbling and soft and the pretzel rods are lightly toasted on top.
  2. Let the dessert rest for 10 minutes before serving so the juices thicken slightly.

Notes

Serve warm or at room temperature, great with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream. If you have leftovers, store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 2 to 3 days. Reheat briefly in the oven to revive the flavors.
