  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or your choice) Feel free to mix in different cheeses.

  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

Method

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef, onion, and garlic until the beef is browned and the onions are translucent. Drain excess fat.
  3. Stir in the Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Remove from heat and mix in the shredded cheese.
  4. Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate it into triangles.
  5. Place a spoonful of the beef mixture on the wide end of each triangle and roll it up.
  6. Place the puffs on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  7. (Optional) Beat the egg and brush it over the tops of the puffs for a golden finish.
  8. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown.
Serving
  1. Serve warm, straight from the oven. They are great on their own or paired with dipping sauces like ranch, barbecue, or hot sauce.
Storage
  1. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat in oven or microwave.
  2. For longer storage, freeze wrapped puffs in plastic wrap and place in a freezer bag for up to 2 months.

Notes

For added flavor, include chopped jalapeños or red pepper flakes in the beef mixture. You can also roll puffs in advance and bake later.
