Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Lightly coat a clear glass 9×13 casserole dish with cooking spray or a thin film of oil.
- Arrange the raw boneless skinless chicken thighs in an even layer in the dish.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, and ketchup until smooth and fully combined.
- Pour the sauce evenly over the chicken, turning the pieces if needed to coat all surfaces.
- Bake uncovered for 30 to 35 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and reaches 165°F in the thickest part.
- If you want a slightly thicker glaze, spoon some of the hot sauce from the dish over the chicken during the last 10 minutes of baking.
- Let the chicken rest for 5 minutes before serving. Spoon the pan sauce over each portion and serve hot with rice and a green vegetable.
Notes
For extra flavor, marinate the chicken thighs in the sauce for a few hours or overnight before baking. You can also modify the recipe by adding vegetables like bell peppers or snap peas to the baking dish.
