Preparation
- Heat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook the spaghetti until just tender, then drain.
- While the pasta cooks, brown the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat. Drain any excess grease from the pan.
- Stir in the pasta sauce with the ground beef, warming it through.
Assembly and Baking
- Spread half of the cooked spaghetti in the greased baking dish and dot with cream cheese.
- Add the remaining spaghetti on top and pour the meat sauce evenly over everything.
- Bake uncovered for 25 to 30 minutes, or until hot and bubbly.
- Let rest for 10 minutes before serving.
Notes
Serve warm, garnished with fresh parsley or grated cheese if desired. Pairs well with salad or garlic bread. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
