Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 350°F and lightly grease a 9x13-inch glass baking dish.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the browned ground beef, condensed cheddar cheese soup, and shredded cheddar. Stir until the beef is evenly coated.
- Add the quartered biscuit pieces to the bowl and gently toss until the dough is coated in the beef and cheese mixture.
- Spread the mixture evenly into the prepared baking dish. Make sure the biscuit pieces are loosely arranged, so they can puff up as they bake.
Baking
- Bake for 30 to 35 minutes, until the biscuit pieces are puffed and golden brown, and the casserole is hot and bubbling.
- Let it rest for 5 minutes before serving.
Notes
This dish is great served hot from the oven. You can enjoy it on its own or pair it with a fresh salad or coleslaw. Feel free to top it with pickles, ketchup, or mustard to enhance that classic cheeseburger flavor! If you have leftovers, store them in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
