Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C) and line a large baking sheet with foil.
- In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until fully browned. Break it up as it cooks.
- Drain excess grease and stir in taco seasoning until the meat is evenly coated.
- Lay 4 tortillas on the prepared baking sheet.
- Divide seasoned beef evenly over the tortillas and sprinkle cheddar cheese on top.
- Place the remaining tortillas over each to form 4 quesadillas.
Cooking
- Bake for 8-10 minutes, then carefully flip the quesadillas and bake for another 5-7 minutes, until golden and cheese is melted.
- Remove from the oven and let them rest for 2 minutes before cutting into wedges.
Notes
Serve with salsa, guacamole, or sour cream. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
