Ingredients

Main ingredients
  • 1 tube refrigerated crescent roll dough For the wrap
  • 8 slices thin slices deli roast beef Can experiment with different deli meats
  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened Use room temperature for easier spreading
  • 8 small dill pickle spears, patted dry Dry well to avoid sogginess

Method

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F and line a baking sheet or small baking dish with parchment paper for easy cleanup.
  2. Unroll the crescent dough and separate it into 8 triangles. Spread a thin layer of softened cream cheese over each triangle.
  3. Place one slice of roast beef on each triangle, folding it if necessary to fit, then set one dill pickle spear along the wide end of each piece of dough.
  4. Roll each one up from the wide end toward the point, tucking the pickle inside and pinching the dough lightly so the roll-ups stay closed.
Baking
  1. Bake for 12 to 16 minutes or until the crescent dough is puffed and golden brown.
  2. Let them cool for 5 minutes before serving so the filling can set slightly. Serve warm or at room temperature.

Notes

Serve as a finger food at parties or as a quick snack. They can also be arranged on a platter with dipping sauces like mustard or ranch.
