Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 1.5 pounds ground beef
  • 0.75 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 large egg
  • 0.5 cup whole milk
  • 0.5 cup finely diced yellow onion
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 0.5 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon black pepper
For the Glaze
  • 0.5 cup ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard

Method

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F and lightly grease a 12 cup muffin pan.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, breadcrumbs, egg, milk, onion, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix gently just until it’s combined.
  3. Divide the meat mixture evenly among the muffin cups, making sure not to pack it tightly.
  4. In a small bowl, stir together the ketchup, brown sugar, and Dijon mustard. Spoon the glaze evenly over the meatloaves.
Baking
  1. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes, until the centers reach 160°F.
  2. Let them rest for 5 minutes. Carefully remove them from the muffin pan and serve warm.

Notes

These meatloaves can be served with mashed potatoes, green beans, or a simple salad. Add extra ketchup for dipping. Store leftover meatloaf in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to three days or freeze for up to three months.
