Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 1 pound ground breakfast sausage Use your preferred brand of breakfast sausage.
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese Cheddar adds great flavor, but feel free to experiment.
  • 1 cup almond flour This keeps the recipe low-carb.

Method

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground sausage, shredded cheddar cheese, and almond flour. Mix until evenly blended.
  3. Scoop out portions and roll them into bite-size balls, about 1 to 1.5 inches wide. Set them on the prepared pan, leaving space between each.
Baking
  1. Bake for 18 to 22 minutes until cooked through and browned with bubbling cheese.
  2. Let them rest for 5 minutes before serving warm.

Notes

These sausage cheese bombs are best served warm right out of the oven. You can enjoy them on their own or with your favorite dipping sauces like ranch or mustard. Adjust the size of the balls based on your preference; smaller ones will bake quicker.
