Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet or shallow baking pan with foil for easier cleanup.
  2. Separate the onion slices into thick rings or keep smaller rounds intact. Wrap each piece snugly with one slice of bacon and place seam-side down on the prepared pan.
  3. Sprinkle the tops lightly with black pepper.
Cooking
