Method

Cooking the Steaks
  1. Preheat your grill or skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Season the steaks with salt and pepper.
  3. Grill or pan-sear the steaks for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or until cooked to your liking.
  4. Let them rest after cooking.
Making the Loaded Mashed Potatoes
  1. Peel and dice the potatoes.
  2. Boil them in salted water until tender, around 15-20 minutes.
  3. Drain and mash with sour cream, cheese, milk, and butter.
  4. Season with salt and pepper.
Cooking the Shrimp and Asparagus
  1. In another pan, heat olive oil over medium heat.
  2. Add the shrimp and cook until pink, about 3-4 minutes.
  3. Season with garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  4. In the same pan, add asparagus and cook until tender-crisp, about 4-5 minutes.
Serving
  1. Serve the steaks alongside the loaded mashed potatoes, shrimp, and asparagus.
  2. Garnish with a sprinkle of parsley for a pop of color.

Notes

Allow the steaks to come to room temperature before cooking for better results. Don’t overcrowd the pan when cooking shrimp; this helps them cook evenly. Customize the loaded mashed potatoes by adding other ingredients like garlic or green onions.
