- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease a baking dish.
- In a bowl, combine ground beef, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix gently.
- Shape the mixture into burger patties.
Cooking
- Heat a skillet and brown each burger for about 3–4 minutes per side.
- Transfer burgers to the baking sheet, spread pizza sauce on top, and add mozzarella and your choice of toppings.
- Bake for 10–15 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Butter and toast the buns.
- Assemble the burgers on toasted buns with fresh herbs and serve.
Notes
Serve loaded pizza burgers hot with a side of fries or a fresh salad. Offer extra toppings like more pizza sauce, chili flakes, or different cheeses for customization. If you have leftovers, place the burgers in an airtight container in the refrigerator. They will stay good for up to 3 days.
