Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 400°F. Line a baking sheet or a small rimmed pan with parchment paper or foil for easy cleanup.
- Unfold the thawed puff pastry sheet onto a lightly floured surface. Gently roll the pastry just enough to smooth the seams.
- Sprinkle the chopped ham evenly over the pastry. Top with the Swiss cheese, ensuring the surface is well covered.
- Using a sharp knife or pizza cutter, cut the pastry into small squares or rectangles, about 2 inches each.
- Transfer them to the prepared pan, leaving a little space between each bite.
- Bake for 15 to 18 minutes, or until the pastry is puffed, golden, and the cheese is melted with crisp edges.
- Let the bites cool for 3 to 5 minutes. Serve warm on a platter with toothpicks.
Notes
These bites are best enjoyed warm. Arrange them neatly on a serving platter and add some toothpicks for easy eating. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to three days. To reheat, bake at 350°F for 5-10 minutes.
