Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 4 pieces boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon dried parsley
  • 1 tablespoon grated Parmesan cheese (optional) Adds flavor if desired.
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice

Method

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C). Lightly grease a baking dish or line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Pat the chicken breasts dry with paper towels. If they are very thick, gently pound them to an even thickness.
Seasoning
  1. In a small bowl, combine garlic powder, paprika, Italian seasoning, onion powder, salt, black pepper, dried parsley, and Parmesan cheese (if using).
  2. Rub chicken breasts with olive oil and coat them evenly with the seasoning mixture. Drizzle lemon juice over the top.
Baking
  1. Arrange chicken in a single layer in the prepared baking dish. Bake for 20–25 minutes, depending on thickness.
  2. Check for doneness; the thickest part should reach 165°F (74°C) on an instant-read thermometer.
  3. Remove chicken from the oven and let it rest for 5 minutes before slicing.

Notes

Make sure to dry the chicken well before seasoning for better spice adherence. Broiling for the last few minutes can enhance crispiness.
