Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a large skillet over medium-high heat, brown the ground beef and onions until fully cooked. Drain excess grease.
Season the beef mixture with salt, black pepper, and garlic powder. Set aside to cool slightly.
Flatten each individual biscuit dough piece into a circle approximately 4 inches in diameter.
Place 2 tablespoons of the seasoned beef mixture and one cube of cheddar cheese into the center of each dough circle.
Pull the edges of the dough over the filling and pinch firmly to seal, shaping into a ball.
Place the dough balls seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet.
In a small bowl, whisk together the melted butter, minced garlic, parmesan cheese, and parsley.
Brush half of the garlic parmesan butter mixture onto the tops of the dough balls.
Bake for 12 to 15 minutes or until the dough is golden brown and cooked through.
Remove from the oven and immediately brush with the remaining butter mixture. Serve warm.
