Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 2 pieces lobster tails Choose bright and undamaged lobsters for the best flavor.
  • 4 tablespoons butter Use unsalted butter for better control of seasoning.
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced Freshly minced garlic adds the best flavor.
  • 1 medium lemon, juiced Provides acidity to balance the richness of the butter.
  • to taste Salt and pepper Adjust according to preference.
  • to taste Fresh parsley, chopped For garnish.

Method

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Using kitchen shears, cut the top of each lobster tail shell down to the tail fin. Gently pull the lobster meat out of the shell and lay it on top.
Cooking
  1. In a small saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter and add minced garlic. Cook for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  2. Pour the garlic butter mixture over the lobster meat and season with lemon juice, salt, and pepper.
  3. Bake the lobster tails in the preheated oven for about 10-12 minutes, until the meat is opaque and cooked through.
Serving
  1. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve immediately on a large platter, drizzled with any remaining garlic butter.

Notes

If you have leftovers, store them in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days. Reheat gently in the oven to avoid toughening the meat. You can also try grilling the lobster tails instead of baking them.
