Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C).
- Line a baking sheet with foil and place a wire rack on top.
- Pat the ribs dry and arrange them in a single layer on the rack.
- In a bowl, mix the barbecue sauce and hot sauce together.
- Brush half of the sauce over the ribs, then cover them with foil.
Cooking
- Bake for 2 to 2.5 hours until the ribs are tender.
- Increase the oven temperature to 425°F (220°C).
- Brush the ribs with the reserved sauce and bake uncovered for 10 to 15 minutes.
- For extra char, switch to broil on high for 2 to 4 minutes.
- Let the ribs rest for a few minutes, then brush them with the remaining sauce and serve.
Notes
Adjust the amount of hot sauce based on your spice preference. Let the ribs marinate in the sauce for a couple of hours or overnight for an even richer flavor. For a smoky flavor, consider adding a few drops of liquid smoke to the sauce mixture. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days or freeze for up to 3 months.
