  • 5 –6 sausage links Italian or smoked
  • 2 large yellow onions thinly sliced
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella or Gruyère cheese
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley chopped (optional)

Method

  1. Brown the Sausage
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add sausages and cook until browned on all sides. Remove and set aside.
  3. Cook the Onions
