Creamy Cajun Chicken Sliders

Ingredients
  

  • 12 unit slider rolls (e.g., Hawaiian sweet rolls)
  • 2 cups cooked shredded chicken breast
  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup mayonnais e
  • 1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 cup green onions, thinly sliced
  • 1.5 cups shredded pepper jack cheese
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried parsley

Method
 

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Slice the block of slider rolls in half horizontally and place the bottom section into a 9x13 inch baking dish.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, mayonnaise, Cajun seasoning, and garlic powder until smooth.
  4. Fold the shredded chicken and sliced green onions into the cream cheese mixture until evenly coated.
  5. Spread the chicken mixture in an even layer across the bottom halves of the rolls.
  6. Top the chicken mixture with the shredded pepper jack cheese.
  7. Place the top half of the rolls over the cheese layer.
  8. Whisk together the melted butter and dried parsley, then brush the mixture evenly over the tops of the rolls.
  9. Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake for 15 minutes.
  10. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes until the cheese is melted and the tops are golden brown.
