Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 2 cans 15-ounce cans thick beef chili with beans
  • 1 can 10.5-ounce can condensed cheddar cheese soup
  • 1 bag 9.75- to 10.5-ounce bag curly-style corn chips
  • 3 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese

Method

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F and lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. In a mixing bowl, stir together the beef chili and the condensed cheddar cheese soup until well combined.
  3. Spread the chili mixture evenly across the bottom of the prepared baking dish.
  4. Scatter most of the corn chips evenly over the chili layer.
  5. Sprinkle the shredded cheddar over the chips, leaving some edges of the chips exposed for a little crunch.
Baking
  1. Bake uncovered for 20 to 25 minutes, or until the edges are bubbly and the cheese has melted completely.
  2. If you want extra crunch, add the reserved corn chips during the final few minutes of baking.
  3. Allow the dish to rest for about 5 minutes before serving.

Notes

Serve hot with a fresh salad, sour cream, or guacamole. For extra kick, add jalapenos or taco seasoning. Customize with different cheeses or toppings.
