Ingredients
  

For the cheese ball
  • 8 oz Cream Cheese, softened Make sure it's at room temperature for easy mixing
  • 1 cup Shredded Cheddar Cheese Use sharp cheddar for more flavor
  • 3 oz Chipped Beef, chopped Reserve some for coating the outside
  • 1 Tbsp Onion, finely minced Red or green onion can be used
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire Sauce
  • 1/2 tsp Garlic Powder

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Soften the cream cheese at room temperature for 30–45 minutes.
  2. In a medium mixing bowl, mix the softened cream cheese with shredded cheddar, minced onion, Worcestershire sauce, and garlic powder until evenly distributed.
  3. Reserve some of the chopped dried beef for coating the outside. Stir the remaining beef into the cream cheese mixture and taste, adjusting with extra salt if necessary.
  4. Scoop the mixture onto plastic wrap and shape it into a ball. Wrap tightly and refrigerate for at least 2 hours.
  5. Unwrap the chilled cheese ball and gently roll it in the reserved chopped chipped beef to coat.

Notes

Serve with crackers, pretzels, or fresh veggies. Store tightly wrapped in plastic or in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week, or freeze for up to a month.
