  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
Optional Ingredient
  • 1 tbsp olive oil For added richness, optional.

Method

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F) if you wish to make a warm baked dip.
  2. In a bowl, combine the softened cream cheese and sour cream until the mixture is smooth and creamy.
  3. Stir in the minced garlic, parsley, oregano, thyme, salt, and black pepper.
  4. Fold in the shredded mozzarella and grated Parmesan until everything is well combined.
  5. If you want a cold dip, chill it in the refrigerator for 30 to 60 minutes before serving.
  6. For a warm dip, transfer the mixture to a baking dish and bake for 15 to 20 minutes, or until it is bubbly and lightly golden on top.
  7. Drizzle with olive oil (if desired) and garnish with extra herbs. Serve alongside bread, crackers, or veggies.

Notes

Use room temperature cream cheese for easier mixing. Feel free to adjust the garlic and herbs according to your taste preferences. For a spicier kick, add a pinch of crushed red pepper flakes. To store any leftover dip, place it in an airtight container and keep it in the refrigerator for about 3 to 5 days. If you have made a warm dip, let it cool before storing.
