Ingredients
  

Pasta and Broccoli
  • 8 ounces medium shell pasta
  • 4 cups small broccoli florets
Cheesy Sauce
  • 2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1 can condensed cheddar cheese soup (10 1/2 ounces)

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F. Lightly grease a medium baking dish or ceramic casserole bowl.
  2. In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil. Cook the shell pasta for 6 minutes (2 minutes less than the package instructions).
  3. During the last 2 minutes of cooking, add the broccoli florets to the pot.
  4. Drain the pasta and broccoli well.
  5. Return the pasta and broccoli to the pot. Stir in the cheddar cheese soup and 1 1/2 cups of the shredded cheddar until well coated.
  6. Spoon the mixture into the prepared baking dish. Sprinkle the remaining 1/2 cup cheddar evenly over the top.
Baking
  1. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes, until hot and bubbly around the edges, and the cheese on top is melted.
  2. Let it rest for 5 minutes before serving.

Notes

Serve warm with a side salad or crusty bread. Garnish with fresh herbs for extra flavor. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days or freeze for up to 2 months. Reheat thoroughly before serving.
