Cheesy Beef-Stuffed Pull-Apart Bread Loaf

Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 small yellow onion, finely diced
  • 2 cloves garlic , minced
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sal t
  • 0.5 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1 lb pre -made pizza dough, at room temperature
  • 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 0.25 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, finely chopped

Method
 

  1. In a large skillet over medium-high heat, brown the ground beef and diced onion until the beef is fully cooked and the onion is translucent.
  2. Stir in the minced garlic, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and black pepper; cook for 2 minutes and then remove from heat to drain excess fat.
  3. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit (190 degrees Celsius) and grease a 9x5 inch loaf pan.
  4. Divide the pizza dough into 16 equal-sized portions and flatten each portion into a thin disc.
  5. Place approximately 1.5 tablespoons of the beef mixture and a tablespoon of the combined cheeses into the center of each dough disc.
  6. Fold the edges of the dough over the filling and pinch firmly to seal, forming a ball.
  7. Combine the melted butter and dried oregano in a small bowl.
  8. Dip each stuffed dough ball into the butter mixture and arrange them in two layers in the prepared loaf pan.
  9. Cover the loaf pan with a clean kitchen towel and let rise in a warm place for 30 minutes.
  10. Bake for 28 to 32 minutes until the bread is golden brown and reaches an internal temperature of 190 degrees Fahrenheit.
  11. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving warm.
