Ingredients
  

For the grapes
  • 2 pounds green seedless grapes, washed and thoroughly dried Ensure grapes are dry to help the caramel stick.
For the coating
  • 11 ounces soft caramel candies, unwrapped Melted and used as the coating.
  • 1 cup roasted peanuts, finely crushed Can substitute with crushed pretzels or graham crackers.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Wash the grapes well and dry them very thoroughly with paper towels or a clean kitchen towel.
  2. Prepare the peanuts by placing the crushed peanuts in a shallow bowl or plate.
  3. In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the caramel candies in short intervals. Stir between each interval until the caramel is smooth and thick.
Coating
  1. Take each grape and dip it into the melted caramel, allowing any excess to drip off.
  2. Roll each caramel-dipped grape in the crushed peanuts until fully coated.
  3. Place the finished grapes on a parchment-lined tray or plate and chill for 15 to 20 minutes, or until the caramel firms up slightly.
Serving
  1. Serve cold or keep refrigerated until ready to serve at the party.

Notes

For a nut-free version, swap the peanuts for crushed pretzels or finely chopped graham crackers. You can also add a sprinkle of cinnamon for extra flavor.
