Method
 

Preparation
  1. Start a campfire and allow the coals to get hot.
  2. Season the steak with salt and pepper.
Cooking
  1. Cook the steak over the fire for about 4-6 minutes on each side, or until desired doneness.
  2. In a separate pan, melt butter or oil over the fire.
  3. Crack the eggs into the pan and cook to your liking (sunny-side up, scrambled, etc.).
Serving
  1. Serve the steak alongside the eggs, garnished with herbs if desired.

Notes

Use a cast-iron skillet for even heat and better flavor when cooking the eggs. For a smoky flavor, consider adding some wood chips to the fire. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days.
