Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Line a large rimmed baking sheet with foil or parchment paper, or place an oven-safe wire rack over the pan.
- Pat the chicken breasts dry and cut them into approximately 1-inch pieces.
- Cut each strip of bacon into thirds. Wrap one piece of bacon around each chicken cube, placing them seam side down on the prepared baking sheet.
- In a small bowl, mix the brown sugar, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
- Sprinkle this mixture evenly over the bacon-wrapped chicken.
Cooking
- Bake in the oven for 25 to 30 minutes or until the bacon is browned and the chicken is cooked through. Ensure the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
- For extra crispiness, broil the bites briefly at the end of the cooking time.
- Let the bites rest for 5 minutes before serving.
Notes
Serve warm as an appetizer or snack. Pair with dipping sauces like ranch, barbecue, or honey mustard. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
