Ingredients
  

  • 2 large chicken breasts
  • 1 bunch asparagus trimmed
  • 4 –6 slices mozzarella or provolone cheese
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • Optional: grated parmesan fresh parsley

Method
 

  1. Prep the chicken
  2. Slice each chicken breast horizontally to form a pocket. Don’t cut all the way through.
  3. Season
  4. Rub with olive oil. Add garlic, paprika, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  5. Stuff it
  6. Place cheese slices inside, then add 3–4 asparagus spears. Secure with toothpicks if needed.
  7. Sear
  8. Heat a skillet over medium-high. Cook chicken 3–4 minutes per side until golden.
  9. Bake
  10. Transfer to oven at 375°F (190°C). Bake 15–20 minutes until fully cooked.
  11. Serve
  12. Let it rest for a few minutes. Top with parmesan and parsley if you like.
