Ingredients

For the Pie
  • 1 each prepared graham cracker crust in an aluminum pie tin (9-inch) Store-bought or homemade
  • 1 packet unsweetened pink lemonade or strawberry Kool-Aid drink mix Can substitute with other flavors
  • 1 can sweetened condensed milk 14 ounces
  • 1 tub whipped topping, thawed 8 ounces

Method

Preparation
  1. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the sweetened condensed milk and the Kool-Aid drink mix until the color is evenly blended and the mixture is smooth.
  2. Gently fold in the whipped topping until the filling is light, fluffy, and fully combined, with no white streaks remaining.
  3. Spoon the filling into the graham cracker crust and spread it into an even layer, smoothing the top with a spatula.
Chilling
  1. Refrigerate the pie for at least 4 hours, or freeze for 1 to 2 hours for a firmer, frostier texture, until set enough to slice cleanly.
Serving
  1. Slice and serve cold. If you like, let the frozen pie sit at room temperature for a few minutes before serving for the easiest slicing.

Notes

Cover and store leftovers in the refrigerator for 3 to 5 days. For longer storage, freeze the pie and thaw before serving. Experiment with different Kool-Aid flavors for variety.
