Main Ingredients
  • 24 slices slices of salami
  • 4 ounces cream cheese, softened Make sure it's softened for easier spreading.
  • ½ cup banana peppers, finely chopped Adjust to your taste, add more for extra kick.

Method

Preparation
  1. Lay 12 salami slices on a clean work surface or plastic wrap, overlapping slightly to form a rectangle.
  2. Spread half of the softened cream cheese evenly across the salami.
  3. Sprinkle half of the chopped banana peppers over the cream cheese and gently press them in.
  4. Carefully roll the layered salami into a tight log, using the plastic wrap to help guide it.
  5. Wrap the roll tightly in plastic wrap and repeat with the remaining ingredients to make a second roll.
  6. Refrigerate both rolls for at least one hour to firm up.
  7. Unwrap and slice each roll into bite-sized pinwheels, wiping the knife between cuts.
  8. Arrange the pinwheels cut-side up on a serving platter.

Notes

Serve the roll-ups as a fun appetizer at gatherings. Consider pairing them with toothpicks for easy serving. If you have leftovers, store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to three days.
